I placed an order for a set of lenses for my Quest 2 on January 3rd, and they showed up on January 10th. Nicely packed in their own carrying case, these were a substitute for a competitor's product since I damaged one of the lenses. I decided to go with them because they’re based in the UK, and honestly, they’re way better optically than my previous lenses and super simple to install. I’d totally suggest Aldens VR lenses.

I placed an order for the lenses right before Christmas, and they just showed up today.

I believe they are made using 3D printing, and they came without any dust, so I didn’t need to clean them before installation.

Ordering:
It was a breeze. I entered my recent prescription and followed the steps to put in my distance measurements on the website. After paying, I got a confirmation email almost right away. The next day, I received another email confirming my prescription was good to go, and then they were shipped. Given the strikes and the holiday season, I expected the delivery to take a bit longer. The delivery was tracked by Royal Mail.

Delivery and Unboxing:
The package was well-protected and included an installation guide, lens cleaner, and a protective case. Each lens was securely held in its own pouch, all packed inside a cardboard box.

Installation:
The instructions and videos were straightforward and easy to follow. It took me around ten minutes, mainly because you have to apply a good amount of pressure to get them to clip in, and I was a bit worried about breaking the lens housing. But I didn’t! They’re pretty simple to install and take out once you find the right spot.

Performance:
I could read right away without my regular prescription lenses. The navigation menus, game text, and even articles from BBC and Twitter were all clear with hardly any distortion. I only wore them for about ten minutes, but I’d say they’re over 90% as effective as my varifocals, and with a little tweaking, I’m sure they’ll match my own specs perfectly. They really enhance the VR gaming experience too—no pressure points on my head or nose, and no frames blocking my view.

It was a bit emotional since it’s the first time in three decades I’ve been able to read without glasses, and I can’t recommend these enough!

As for fitting, I didn’t find it too challenging. Just keep your fingers clear of the lenses and only handle the frame, and it’s pretty straightforward to install and remove them. The clarity is a game changer! I do notice some god rays at the edges of the screen, but that’s just a Quest 2 quirk; looking straight on gives me a crystal-clear view.

Overall, I can’t find anything to complain about regarding Adlens' customer service or their product. I’d definitely recommend them!

The lens adapters are simple to attach and are clearly labeled for left and right, plus they only fit one way due to their design.

I could go on and on about how much better the gaming experience is; wearing glasses while using the Quest 2 or any VR headset isn’t ideal.

With my Adlens prescription lens adapters, I get a level of clarity I just couldn’t achieve with regular glasses.

The only thing I’d suggest is finding a more convenient method for attaching and detaching them, as it can be a hassle when you’re swapping the headset with someone else. That’s the only reason I didn’t rate it a full 5 stars.

This is a total game changer for comfort, and I ain't worried about scratching my lenses at all. It doesn't matter which face insert you go with. The turnaround time was decent, and it arrived in a box that I can use again. The only downside is clipping them on and off the Quest 2; it kinda makes me nervous that I might break something.

These lenses have completely changed how I enjoy my Quest2 VR. I dealt with my glasses for a long time, constantly worried about damaging the Quest 2 lenses. I would totally suggest the Adlens lenses.

I was kinda unsure about getting these since I usually used contact lenses while gaming on my Oculus Quest 2. But then I really wanted to enjoy my Quest without having lenses in my eyes. My glasses were digging into my face, even with the Quest's glasses relief feature. During lockdown, I found myself using my contact lenses less and playing on the Quest more. So, I finally decided to grab my Adlens's. I can't believe how clear they make my vision in the Quest 2. I just wish I had picked them up when I first got my Quest 2. They're a perfect addition for folks who wear glasses.
